The time a service takes depends on the exact type of service required, and the make and model of the vehicle. As a guide, an interim or minor service will usually take around 90 minutes, and any items which need rectification will then be carried out after the service has been completed. A major or full service typically takes about 3 hours, and again any extra work required is then addressed. Service intervals, schedules, and times do vary across the models, and any extra work identified and authorised will mean the appointment will take longer.
Service schedules vary across vehicle types, most vehicles require an annual service or inspection, and higher mileage users will require more frequent maintenance. The content of the service varies depending on which service is being carried out, we are more than happy to discuss what is involved in a service, and which service is required or recommended.
At P J Nicholls Ltd, we pride ourselves in our customer service, and aim to provide an efficient and friendly experience. Our technicians are fully trained, and we have the latest diagnostic equipment. We adhere to the manufacturer's service and maintenance schedules, and provide a vehicle health check, e-check, for each vehicle, and send a video so you have a full understanding of the condition of your vehicle, and any issues which need attention. All services have a complimentary wash and vacuum, and all Ford vehicles have the free option of 12 months Ford Roadside Assistance activated when the service has been completed.
We try to make your servicing experience as hassle free as possible. We offer free collection and delivery, and also have a fleet of courtesy vehicles, which includes vans and pick ups, to minimise your inconvenience and potential down time - these are all subject to availability and we do have some insurance terms and conditions, so just get in touch and we can help you out. If you require a while you wait appointment, we can accommodate these, or you can drop the vehicle off at your convenience, and collect it when it is ready. Payment can be made in person, over the telephone, or via our secure online payment link.
