About the opportunity

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join the team at our busy P J Nicholls dealership in Pershore. We are Authorised Repairers for Ford Passenger and Commercial Vehicles, we hold KGM Sales and Aftersales Franchise, and also carry out work on all makes of vehicles, and we are Electric Vehicle specialists.

You will be highly motivated, presentable and organised and bring a desire for achieving the very best levels of customer service that we price ourselves upon delivering. Ideally you will experience working in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
• To answer the phone, deal with customer enquiries and take service, MOT and tyre bookings.
• To maximise service profitability through the use of professional sales techniques.
• To maintain excellent standards of departmental administration.
• Cost, invoice and collect payment for work carried out.
• Maintain customer records and enter data in to the database.
• To support the service manager.
• To be involved with parts ordering and stock control.

Skills required:

• Knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs and parts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate customers needs to the technicians.
• Basic knowledge of computer programmes such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Organisational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure the work is carried out on time.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00.
• Alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00.

Salary:

• Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience.
