Award Winning The New Musso is a real pickup with real style. One thing it’s certainly picking up is praise. It’s a big, bold, beauty - now with a more aggressive front face that matches its abilities. A stylishly versatile pickup with giant-sized muscles. With a striking front-end that commands attention and dynamic character lines that sweep across the side to a graceful rear. Its luxurious interior offers comfort and tech that would grace a stylish SUV. The bold yet elegant exterior design flows from a mighty body-on-frame construction built with ultra-strength steel. A powerful platform that it shares with the SsangYong Rexton - 4x4 Magazine’s Pick up Of The Year three years in a row - 2019, 2020, and 2021, 4x4 Magazine's Best Individual Model 2022, and WhatCar? Car of the Year 2022 Best Pick Up for Payload - the Musso Rhino.
The Power to Tow, The Strength to Carry The Musso powertrain employs a 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine manufactured by SsangYong, which delivers maximum power of 202PS and torque of 441Nm. Musso’s high strength chassis and ultra-rigid body gives the platform to tow and carry with a best in class set of figures. With automatic transmission Musso can tow 3.5 tonne and carry 1140kg – all at the same time, something no other pick-up can match.
Fluent in 4x4 The truck’s four-wheel drive system draws on SsangYong’s years of experience in all-wheel-drive technology. For better efficiency and greater fuel economy, it features part time 4x4 with power delivered permanently to the rear wheels, and front wheel drive dialed in electronically as required, with high and low ratios available as on and off-road conditions demand.
Front Styling New Musso is designed to feel fresh and modern which is instantly expressed by its exterior detailing. The distinctive new ladder style grille makes a major impact and is also an elegent piece of design. The bold headlight units include daytime running lights, projection headlamps for better night vision, LED positioning lamps and directional indicators. The triple LED fog lights complete new Musso's frontal statement with both style and function.
Interior When you step inside the cabin of the new Musso, you’d be forgiven for believing you were entering a family SUV. Incredible levels of comfort are guaranteed, with soft-textured nappa leather seats, ample room for up to five, and cutting-edge technology all working together to create the ideal motoring environment.
An Interior to Impress The interior of the Musso has been designed to offer a level of quality and comfort you’d expect from an SUV, not a pick-up. The soft-textured nappa leather seats can be electrically adjusted and are heated front and rear. There’s plenty of room to seat five passengers comfortably. It has excellent NVH levels too due to advanced engineering to reduce engine and road noise.
Infotainment Smart choice. That’s exactly what new Musso offers. There are three advanced state-of-the-art infotainment systems. EX models feature a DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity. Rebel models feature a DAB radio with an 8” screen, built-in rear-view camera plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to connect to your smartphone. Upgrade to Saracen or Rhino and you can enjoy all of these features and a 9.2” HD touchscreen with TomTom navigation for a great audio experience.
Interior Styling The interior of the Musso is refined and elegant. Perhaps unexpectedly for a utility vehicle, it brings a level of refinement and contemporary ambiance that’s closer to a premium SUV, yet still feels robust and durable, complementing the exterior look of a pick-up.
