What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

•Oversee daily retail operations across four Nisa forecourt shops

•Drive profitability through effective cost management and revenue optimization

•Develop and implement business strategies to maximize performance

•Monitor KPIs, sales targets, and operational efficiency across all sites

•Ensure consistent brand standards and customer experience

Team Management

•Lead, motivate, and develop retail teams across multiple locations

•Recruit, train, and manage staff to deliver exceptional customer service

•Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans

•Foster a positive, productive work environment aligned with company values

•Coordinate schedules and ensure adequate staffing across all sites

Commercial Excellence

•Manage procurement and buying decisions to optimize margins

•Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships

•Implement promotional strategies and seasonal campaigns

•Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities

•Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and retail regulations

Operational Management

•Oversee stock management, inventory control, and loss prevention

•Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer service

•Manage budgets, P&L responsibility, and financial reporting

•Coordinate maintenance and facility improvements

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

•5+ years retail management experience, preferably multi-site

•Proven track record in convenience retail, forecourt, or similar operations

•Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility

•Team leadership experience managing 15+ staff members

•Buying/procurement experience with supplier relationship management

•Clean UK driving licence (essential for multi-site travel)

•Excellent leadership and people management abilities

•Strong analytical skills with proficiency in retail systems and Excel

•Commercial awareness with focus on profitability and growth

•Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

•Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure

•Flexibility to work across multiple locations as required

Ideal Background:

•Convenience store, forecourt, or petrol station management

•Experience with Nisa or similar convenience retail brands

•Knowledge of fuel operations and compliance requirements

•Understanding of local market dynamics in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire

Excellent Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Package:

•£35,000 - £45,000 basic salary (based on experience)

•Performance bonuses tied to profitability targets

Working Arrangements

Multi-Site Flexibility:

•Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend requirements

•Support: Area management support and administrative assistance
