Wow. Where to start?
My purchase was through the Tewkesbury branch and for a Fiesta - the Ecoboost Titanium 125 to be precise. Simon dealt with my queries most of the way, with some added clarification from Alex (group sales manager) thrown in.
Perhaps the best compliment I can give is as follows. In a few years' time if, and when, I'm in the market for a Ford again: I'll go to these guys before anybody else out of loyalty. I won't go into the exact details of our negotiation, other than to say that both sides were flexible and open to discussion. In the end, I gave them my business and came away very pleased.
I possibly overegged how rigorous I was being about checks (HPI etc) because I am used to buying privately. I found PJ Nicholls patient with me and once I actually arrived to meet Simon in person at the dealership, my worries about being swindled vanished.
Just briefly about the car itself, it functionally speaking has very nearly all the added extras you can think of. My cousin's '10 Audi A4 SC that we arrived in only just keeps up with all the mod-cons in my Fiesta (bar Bluetooth!) and costs a heck of a lot more. That being said, you don't beat Audi for luxurious design. My fiesta is trendy and fun inside but there's a lot less leather.....
To wrap up I'd just say thanks to the guys for sticking with me through all my checks.
